Born in Charwartino, near Neustadt, in West Prussia

wife of Jacob Abraham who died in Kemlau, near Lauenburg (not far from Neustadt) on 18 Sept 1875 ,Franziska and her children immigrated to Huron Co, Michigan, from Bremen, arriving in Baltimore aboard the SS Ohio on 24 May 1879; she arrived with her children, August, Anna, and Carl; a third son, Johann, stayed in Prussia in the army, and immigrated to Huron Co as soon as he was able.
