Services for Mr. Willie Jerome Barwick, 66, will be held Tuesday at 2 P.M. in the Liberty Baptist Church with burial in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Revs. Randy Mimbs and Rusty Brown will officiate
A native of Soperton, Mr. Barwick was the son of the late Willie Clarence Barwick and the late Nellie Mae Ferrell Barwick. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was retired from Shamrock of Dublin. He was the owner of Georgia Resale.
His brothers, Henry Barwick and Frank Moxley; and two grandchildren, preceded him in death. Mr. Barwick died Saturday.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Mae Barwick of Dublin; sons, Donald Barwick of Dublin, Ronald Barwick of Williston, Fla., Dale Barwick of Lyons and Randal Barwick of Vidalia; daughter, Mary Flowers of Vidalia; stepson, David Wood of Dublin; stepdaughter, Dianne McLendon of Dublin; brother, Claude Barwick of Geneva, Alabama; brother, Roy Lee Barwick Sr. of Pahokee, Fla.; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ronald Barwick, Jody Barwick, Brad Barwick, David Tucker, Jonathan Flower s, Michael Barwick and Robert Herndon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 6 until 8 P.M. Townsend Brothers Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
