Annie Mary William Overman, 100 of Pascagoula passed away, Sunday April 26, 2009 in Pascagoula.
She was born June 18, 1908 in Wayne County to the late, John and Beadie Williams. She met and married the love of her life Bill in January of 1926. They raised a family of nine children living in the Delta and then Pascagoula where she lived the past 50 years. She was a homemaker and loved every moment spent with her family. She particularly enjoyed quilting which she made for five generations of family members. Mrs. Overman was a member of Eastlawn Baptist Church in Pascagoula.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eli Willis " Bill" Overman ; two sons, Johnny and Danny Overman; son-in-laws, Jim Summerall , Joe Buza, and Gary Hall; daughter-in-law, Jeannie Overman Jones; three grandchildren, Misty Summerall, Davy McKee, and Kraig Hall.
She is survived by seven children, Ruth Summerall of Olla, LA, Bill Overman and his wife Carol of Laurel MS, Grace Buza of Gautier, MS, Hugh Overman and his wife Doris of Pascagoula, MS, Jack Overman of Pascagoula, MS, Charley Overman and his wife Ruth of Huntsville, AL, and Nell Hall of Pascagoula, MS; 22 grandchidlren, 43 great grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren, and 1 great –great- great –grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 28, 2009 from 1-3 pm at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home with funeral service at 3pm from the chapel. Interment will follow at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS
