Mrs,Ida Walker,67 of 108 Lagrange Ave.,died Tuesday at Mt. View Hospital.She had been in ill health for several years.
Born in Adrian,Michigan June 9, 1904.She moved to Lockport in 1954 from Toledo,Ohio,from where she had been employed as a nurse.
She also was employed in the lockport area as a practical nurse and governess prior to her death.
She is survived by her husband, Louis H Walker;one daughter, Mrs. Chester(Kathryn)Robie of Marion,Indiana;four stepsons,Louis Walker,Jr.of Lockport,Walter Hodges and Richard Hodges.both of Jamestown,N.Y.,and Gerald Hodges of Chicago,Ill.;two sisters and two brothers,Mrs.George(Crete)Wheeler of Jamestown,Mrs.Rolland(Idell)Hineline of Toledo,Ohio.Kenneth Crispell and Glen Borton,both of Jamestown;also 17 Grandchildren and four Greatgrandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home of taylor & Reynolds,Niagara at the North Transit Street,where the funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11,Thr Rev.Robert Eggenschiller officiating. Burial will be in the Cold Springs Cemetery.
