Daughter of Joseph Minor and Mary Avery, granddaughter of four pilgrims; Thomas Minor of Somerset and Grace Palmer of England, Captain James Avery and Joanna Greenslade, both of Devonshire.

After her death, Benjamin married Abigail Hodge and had eight children including Captain Elkanah Sprague of the Revolutionary War.
Prudence has this stone in Old Taugwonk Cemetery with her first husband, parents and several of her children, and a stone in Old Cemetery next to Benjamin's first wife, Mary Woodward.
