Services for Amy Frances Dunavin, 79, of Tahlequah who died Monday, January 8, 1979, at her home, were held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Grace Baptist Church with Reverend Herman Knight officiating. Burial was in Tahlequah City Cemetery under direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Bill Dudley, Cooie Meigs, Alden Dryden, Louie Tate, Keith Holland and David Watson.
Born September 9, 1889 in Hulbert, Indian Territory, she was a life-long Cherokee County resident. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Wagoner, First Baptist Church in Tahlequah and eventually became a member of the Grace Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, in 1970 and her daughter, Lydia in 1975. Survivors include a son, George of Tahlequah; a daughter, Mrs. Hilred LaFevers of Poteau; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
