MRS. R.W. PEEL, 80, IS DEAD
Mrs. Margaret A. Peel, a resident of Springfield for seventy years, widow of Robert W. Peel, died at 11 o'clock yesterday morning at Springfield hospital.She would have been 81 years old January 1, next.
Mrs. Peel had been enjoying apparent good health for a considerable time, but a few days ago was taken to the hospital, when she suddenly became weaker. The decedent numbered among Springfield's pioneer residents, coming to the city from Philadelphia, the place of her birth when a child.
The decedent was a charter member of Flower City chapter Order of Eastern Star, and was actively indentified with its work for many years. She also was an active worker in Central Baptist church.
Surviving are a son, Charles R. Peel, Los Angeles; three daughters, Miss Elizabeth C. Peel, Springfield; Mrs.J.W. Robinson, Lake Odessa, Mich., and Mrs. Richard L. Lord, Chicago, and two grandchildren.
The funeral arrangements have not been completed and will be announced later.

PEEL - Funeral services for Mrs. Robert W. Peel will be held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the residence, 228 W. Jackson street, Rev. E. B. Rogers, officiating. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery. Thomas C. Smith's Sons in charge.
