Liddia Margaret Overmeyer passed away Tuesday morning, November __, 1927 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ida Sparrow (1882-1975) , after an extended illness. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
She was born November 25, 1855 near Harris the d/o William P. and Druzella VanNote Riggs. She was united in marriage to Jacob L. Overmeyer and five children were born to them, four of whom survive: Will of Fisher; Ida Sparrow, Farmer City; Edward, near Champaign; Mrs. Ed Shepperd of Fisher; and Frank, who died in childhood.
Mr. and Mrs. Overmeyer moved to Fisher ten years ago but up until that time had resided in or near Farmer City.
She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Andred Riggs, Z. P. Riggs; and Mrs. Al Roth of this city; and Mrs. Ed Shell, of near Champaign.
