Cinthra Cazett, 78, of Lamberton died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at Presbyterian Home of Arden Hills, Arden Hills from complications of Alzheimer's disease.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Savior''s Lutheran Church, Lamberton. Burial will be in Lamberton Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at Sturm Funeral Home, Lamberton; and continues one hour before services at the church.
Survivors include her children, Charles (Chuck) and wife, Jane Cazett of Elk River, Kathy and husband, Dick Callinan of Arden Hills, James (Jim) and wife, Linda Cazett of Ramsey, Dale and wife, Michele Cazett of Elk River, Julie and husband, Andre Audette of Oakdale; former son-in-law, William Hakes of Avon; 16 grandchildren; sister, Edith and husband, John Baumann of Lamberton; brother, Leo and wife, Marge Anderson of Redwood Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles 'Bud' Cazett in 1986 and daughter Shirley Hakes in 1996.
She was born Feb. 26, 1922, in Jackson County, Minn., to Charley and Bertha (Wallin) Anderson. She moved with her family to rural Storden, attended country school and graduated from Storden High School in 1941. She worked as a housekeeper for various families. On March 17, 1943, she married Charles Cazett in Storden. They farmed west of Lamberton and moved into town in 1970. She worked for Valley View Manor for more than 17 years. She was a long-term member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid and had been a member of the Lamberton Community Ambulance Service for many years.
