Del Ray Stillman was born on March 21, 1943, in Decatur, to Delmar and Fern (Kellogg) Stillman. He passed away Friday, March 30, 2007, at the Logan Valley Manor in Lyons, Nebraska, at the age of 64 years.

Del graduated from Decatur High School. After graduation he joined the United States Air Force on May 25, 1962. Serving 6 years, he was Honorably Discharged on May 24, 1968.

Del had two sons Jimmy and Jesse. He married Mary Nip in 1986.

Del enjoyed boating, fishing, deer and mushroom hunting. He did a lot of odd jobs roofing and painting homes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jimmy; four sisters, Naomi, Georgene, Sharon and Ruby; two brothers Kenneth and Arthur.

Survivors include his sister: Marilyn Kinning of Decatur; brothers: John of Decatur and Robert of Malbourne, Florida; son: Jesse of Concord, New Hampshire.



FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday, April 3, 2007, 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, Decatur, Nebraska.

VISITATION: Monday 1- 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 7 - 8 p.m. at Pelan Funeral Services Tekamah.

BURIAL: Hillcrest Cemetery, Decatur, Nebraska, with Military Honors by VFW Gleason-Rogers Post No. 6926 and American Legion Roger-Crum Post No. 215.
