Mrs. Annie Cool, the aged widow of Peter Cool, deceased, died at her late home in Freedom township, on Friday, November 30th, aged 86 years, 11 months and 13 days. The funeral took place on the Monday following at St. Joseph's church, Emmitsburg. Services was conducted by Rev. Father Cavanah.
Deceased's maiden name was Annie Lawver. She was united in marriage to Peter Cool in 1826. As a union of this marriage, eleven children were born, four of whom survive her. At time of death she had forty-nine grand-children, seventy-five great-grand-children and two great-great-grand children, making a total of one hundred and thirty-seven descendents. She resided all her life-time in Adams county.
