Lydia is the daughter of Johannes and Catharine Hinkel. Lydia's children were: Millicent Winifred Burkhead, Elouise Mildred Burkhead Kabler, Almagene Vivian Burkhead Dimler, Geneva LaJoy "Joy" Burkhead Hirschman, Joan Pauline Burkhead, Junior Lee Burkhead and Bernadette Burkhead. Lydia died in childbirth with Bernadette, who also died, and they were buried together. They died in 1932.
