Frances R. Lee, 85, of Rushville died Thursday at Flatrock River Lodge in Rushville.
A Rushville resident most of her life, she was a homemaker. She was very active in the Rushville Church of Christ, where she was a member of the Loyal Ladies Group. She was active in volunteer work for The Salvation Army, Miller'a Merry Manor and Rush Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Ladies Homemaker Club. She was born July 10, 1913, in Cynthiana, KY., a daughter of the late Clyde Ewalt and Mary K. Chandler.
She is survived by a daughter, Gloria (husband; Richard) Lester of New Castle; three brothers, Clyde Ewalt of Davis, CA., T. Ewalt of Tennessee and Charles Ewalt of Surfside Beach, CA., three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur E., whom she married June 9, 1958, and who died June 28, 1980; and a sister.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Moster & Cox Mortuary in Rushville with Carol Wiley officiating. Burial will follow in East Hill Cemetery in Rushville.
