Mrs. Amos Bittinger .Succumbs To Heart Attack Wednesday.
Stricken suddenly while about the house Wednesday evening at 6 o'clock,
Mrs. Nancy Ellen Bittinger, widow of Amos Bittinger, died Wednesday evening at 6.30 o'clock at her residence in Butler township, Biglerville, R. D. 2 from a heart affection. She had been apparently in the best of health and was about as usual when stricken.
She was aged 73 years, 8 months and 24 days.
She, was the last surviving member of the family of Jacob and Louise Bittinger, deceased, Fayetteville. She was an active worker in the Church and Sunday School of the. Arendtsville Lutheran Church.
She is survived by the following daughters: Misses Laura M. and Jessie W., at home, Mrs. Danier Black, Fayetteville and Miss Minerva S Bittnger, of California, and two grandchildren.
Funeral Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, meeting at the house. Services at the home by Rev. D. Koser.
Interment in Greenmount Cemetery, Arendtsville
