Abby Green Burress, 74, of Holland, died Monday at his home.
Born in Crockett County, TN, he was a resident of the Holland area for 36 years.
Funeral services were scheduled to be held Wednesday at the Wesley Memorial United Methodish Curch in Steele with the Rev. Robert Haden and Rev. Marvin Niblack officiating.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Burress of Holland; two daughters, Mrs. Adele Taylor of Memphis and Mrs. Evelyn Payne of Holland; a son, Fredd Burress of Holland; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pall bearers were Pinnell Capehart, Hoyt Raines, Gardner Norrid, Clell Waldrop, Alma Byassee and Guy Channell.
Burial in Memorial Gardens at Caruthersville with the German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge.
