George W. Alton passed away early Monday morning, August 31, at the age of 53 years. Mr Alton was a well known resident of Pewaukee where he was engaged in the mercantile business for fifty years. The deceased is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Lucy A. Morse of Pewaukee, and Mrs. W.L. Rhodes of La Havra, Calif.; three nieces and one nephew, Mrs. ? M. Hart, and Mrs. Alston Wilson of California, Dorothy Allen of Mansion, Wis. and Fred Alton of Pewaukee.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 from the Masonic Temple at Pewaukee. the Masons will have charge of the services, the Rev. Mr. Sheard officiating, and interment will be in Forest Hill, Pewaukee.
