William Jennings Bryan Warfield was born in KY in 1896, to James and Tina Victoria Campbell Warfield.
As a young man he worked on a threshing crew, and while working in Campo, CO, he met Flora Lorinda Gardner.
They married and had 4 children; Mary Victoria, Billie Marie, Robert Leroy, and Linda Sue Warfield.
Bill Warfield worked for Shell Oil in Martinez, CA until his retirement.
He was also a building contractor. After he retired he continued building houses in the Martinez area.
Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman. He knew every good fishing hole for miles. He loved nothing better than sneaking into someone's pond to fish.
He had a favorite hound, Blue, who he hunted with into his old age. Even in his old age Bill could always out hike the younger hunters, once even having to hike out all night to get someone to drive in and pick up the younger hunters who were lost and could not make it back out to the trucks.
Bill Warfield was cremated and his ashes were scattered in Balboa Bay.
