Clarence Gerald Mullins, 68, Lexington, died Sunday, July 28, 2002, at Central Baptist Hospital.

A Pulaski County native, he was born Feb. 18, 1934, son of Clarence Eugene and Laura Adams Mullins.

A retired 32-year quality control engineer with IBM, he was a long time member of Parkway Baptist Church. He was active in the Lexington Area Bowling Association, where he had served as an officer and director, as well as being inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1994.

A devoted family man, he is survived by his wife, Alberta Mullins, with whom he would have shared their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 2. He also leaves behind a son, Jeff Mullins, Versailles; a daughter, Paula Shelton, Lexington; and a grandson, Lucas Shelton.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at Eubank Baptist Church, U.S. Hwy. 27, Eubank. Burial was in Eubank Cemetery.
