Woark A. Ferguson, 714 E. Oak, died at 6p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Elsom pastor of Ramseur Baptist Church, Officiating. Burial will be made in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Ferguson was born Aug.22,1901 near Ada, Okla. He attended public schools in Ada and married the former Miss Rosa Lee Bobo on Oct.26,1933 at Sayre,Okla. The couple lived in Oklahoma and Arkansas until 1945 when they moved to Paris.
He was a former employ of Fant Milling Co. and DeKalb Agriculture Research Inc. until his retirement in 1964. He was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters; Mrs. William Eudy and Mrs. Robert Swortz, both of Wichita, Kan. Mrs. Billy Parker of Rockwall and Mrs. Bob White of Independence, Kan. three sons; Wayne D. Ferguson and Charles R.Ferguson both of Paris and Thomas Lee Ferguson of Ft. Worth; two brothers, Ira Ferguson of Wellington, Kan. and Ode Ferguson living in California; three sisters; Mrs. Daisy White of Wichita, Kan., Mrs. Opal Duty of Lemoore, Calif., and Mrs. Ida O'Dea of Ada, Okla. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family is at the Ferguson residence,714 E. Oak.
