Mrs. Wissler was a member of the West Willow Seniors Club. For many years, Janeth was employed at Hamilton Watch and later Bulova Technologies. She enjoyed the time she spent with her loving family and grandchildren, and one of her favorite hobbies was gardening.
Mrs. Wissler is survived by her son, Vernon Z. Wissler, of Willow Street; four daughters: Eva M. Alexander, of Mountville, Karen D. Zook, companion of Wayne Work, of Willow Street, Denise E., wife of Lynn Tupnoski, of Middletown, and Marie A., wife of Harry Moon, also of Willow Street; three brothers: Aldus, Glenn, and Mervin Kreider; six sisters: Geneva Bleacher, Edith Miller, Viola Herr, Patricia Rhoads, Frances Gamber, and Earla Deiter; seven grandchildren: Eric, Jason, Shawn, Vincent, Crystal, Emily, and Melanie; and two great-grandchildren: Brandon and Brittani. Janeth was preceded in death by two sons: Richard L. Wissler, Jr. and Darwin D. Wissler; two brothers: Preston and Nelson Kreider; and one sister, Rosalie Smith.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 27, 2009, at the Gundel Funeral Home, 415 North Duke Street, Lancaster, with Rev. Ron Bohannon officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Willow Street United Church of Christ Cemetery. Please omit flowers, as memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
