Miss Parker died Oct. 15, 1991 at the Franklin Medical Center. Born in Winn Parish on Dec. 16, 1906, Miss Parker was preceded in death by parents, Rich and Julia Parker, also of Crowville.
She was a lifelong resident of Franklin Parish, where she was actively engaged in cattle ranching. She was employed for many years by the U.S. Postal Service and retired as the Crowville Postmaster.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. L. W. Hammond, Naples, Fla.; seven nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Pallbearers were Dr. John T. Little, John Gebhart, Joe Maples, C. B. McCarty, Michael Cochran and Don Parker.
