Dalton was the only child of my aunt and uncle Bill & Irma McCullough. He was a nice young man growing up, respectful of his parents and other family members. He had a gift for music, like his mother, he could play by ear. He played the piano and the guitar and had a really nice singing voice.
I remember when we were growing up, he once gave me some of the little plastic toys that we used to get in the gumball machines. He had many of them that he kept in a sock, along with another sock that had marbles in it. I was so excited to get those little toys, and still remember it to this day.
He worked as a teenager bagging groceries after school, and saved up the money to buy himself one of the high school jackets that were so popular back in those days. Our school colors were red and white, so the jacket had a red body with the sleeves being a light cream color. He was very prould of that jacket.
These are just a few memories I wanted to share about my cousin, Dalton.
