Jacob Bower, 75, a lifelong resident near Monroeville, died at 1 o'clock Saturday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.S. Bowyer, east of Fort Wayne on the Lincoln highway. Survivors include the widow Elizabeth; the daughter; a son, Ralph Bower of Monroeville; a brother, Henry Bower, living on the Lincoln highway at the state line; a sister, Mrs. J.B. Morgan of Dixon, O., and nine grandchildren. The body was removed to the Painter Brothers' funeral home at Monroeville, where funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, and 2 o'clock at St. Mark's Lutheran church. Rev. T.W. Hanshew officiating. Burial will be in Monroeville I.O.O.F. cemetery.
