H. Monroe Bloom
CURWENSVILLE - H. Monroe Bloom, 72, of Ridge Avenue, Curwensville, died Tuesday after a lingering illness.
He was born in Pike Township, Aug. 25, 1886, a son of Allen M. and Mary (Horn) Bloom. Mr. Bloom was a member of the Curwensville Presbyterian Church and the Men's Bible Class of that church.
Surviving are his wife, Mabel (Way) Bloom; four children, Ansel, Chester, Gilbert and Mrs. William (Elsie) McNaul, all of Curwensville; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a brother and a sister, Baker Bloom of Tucson, Ariz. and Mrs. Clarence Keller, Curwensville R.D.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Lininger Funeral Home with the Rev. A. Clause Clever officiating. Interment will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. today and until time of services Friday.
