Helen L. Potter of Bedford, IN, died Friday, February 18, 2000, at Westview Manor Nursing and Rehab Center. Born on November 28, 1934, in Iowa, the was the daughter of Austin and Adele Hitch. She married Howard "Tom" Potter on December 25, 1978, and he survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Sharon Wilson of Bedford, IN; two sons, David Carter of Indianapolis and Dan Carter of Florida; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lois.
She was employed by secretarial service in Bedford and was a member of the Otis Park Ladies Club and the American Legion Auxiliary
Services for Helen Potter will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with Stan Wilson officiating. The body will be cremated Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the service time Sunday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
