Margery Ann Finley of Bedford died Saturday, January 8, 2000, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford. Born on October 8, 1912, in Harrodsburg, IN, she was the daughter of Roy and Allie (Perry) Cline. She married Richard Baker, who preceded her in death. She later married Leon Joe Finley, and he preceded her in death on June 27, 1970.

Surviving are two daughters: Clara Lou Parker of Bedford, and LaConda "Connie" Simpson of Mitchell; eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Sarah Lee Fitzgerald, in 1999; one step-son, Leon "Jay" Finley; one sister, Flossie Hardwick; and one nephew, Charles "Skinner" Hardwick.

She retired in 1977 from Dunn Memorial Hospital where she was a registered nurse. She graduated in Bedford High School's Class of 1931. She was a member of First Christian Church in Bedford.

Services for Margery Ann Finley will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Dailey officiating. Pall bearers will be Don Parker, Jr., Robbie Meadows, Marty McDonald, Travis Fitzgerald, James Fitzgerald, Troy Simpson, and Brad Rasmussen. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery in Bedford.
