VALDOSTA -- Geneva King Barwick, 76, Valdosta, died on Sunday, May 4, 2003, at a local nursing home after a short illness. She was born on April 17, 1927, in Madison County, Fla., to the late Alex and Lola Stewart King. Mrs. Barwick was a lifelong member of the Forrest Park Church of Christ.
Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Jeannie Barwick, Danny and Jan Barwick, David and Ann Barwick, Dewayne and Debbie Barwick, all of Valdosta; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Claude and Barbara King, Greenville, Fla.; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Frank Scott, Nell and E. H. Harvell, all of Greenville. She was preceded in death by her husband, L. M. Barwick.
Funeral services will be on at 2 P.M., Wednesday, May 7 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home. Glen Cochran and Jason Roberts will officiate.
