The following detail was taken from "Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors of the Revolutionary War": Receipt dated Sherburne March 27, 1782 for bounty paid said Perry by Samuel Sanger, Chairman No. 3 of the town of Sherburne, to serve in the Continental Army for the term of 3 years."
