GLENN M. WALTERS

Glenn M. Walters, 70, Laurel, died Monday, Feb. 19, 1990, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memory Chapel, with burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The Revs. Leroy Craven and Michael Lee will officiate.

Before his retirement, he was a mechanic with Bush Construction Co. He served in the U.S. Army during War World II and was a member of the Alex Box Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a Baptist and a Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Hawoda Cooley Walters, of Laurel; a son, Michael W. Walters of Laurel; a daughter, Glenda Whittman of Laurel; two sisters, Willie Lee Ishee of Laurel and Catherine Morel of Slidell, La; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. today at Memory Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
