Services for Rev Oscar Andrew Morton, 84, retired Methodist minister, were held at the First Methodist Church officiated by Dr. D.L. McCree, pastor, assisted by Rev. W.M. Greenwald, former minister of Brownwood and Dr. Wayne S Reynolds, District Superintendent.
Rev Oscar Andrew Morton moved to Graham, Texas in 1947 following his retirement. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge.
Survived by five daughters - Mrs. O.B. Rose, Mrs. L.C. Daniels, Mrs. Marvin Huey, Mrs. Paul L. Whittson, Mrs. O.D. Carpenter two sons - Rev. J.E. Morton and Paul Morton; three sisters - Mrs. Oscar Hood, Mrs. J.L. Oliver, Mrs. Otis Schallingburg; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
