He was born Dec. 15, 1895, at Tyrone, a son of Peter and Nettie (Cupp) Worley.
Mr. Worley had been employed by the borough as custodian of the garbage disposal area.
Surviving are his wife, Catherine Stevens Worley; three brothers, Edward of Hollidysburg, Warren of Altoona and Clarence, and four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Burke of New York City, Mrs. Bessie Wahl and Mrs. May Blyler of Hollidaysburg and Mrs Louise Bender of Altoona.
Friends will be received at the home of Mrs. Wahl, 215 Blair St., Hollidaysburg, after 7 p.m. today.
Services for John B. Worley will be conducted at 2 p.m. friday at the home of Mrs. Bessie Wahl, 215 Blair St. Hollidaysburg, by the Rev. David M. McCaulley. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received at the home of Mrs. Wahl after 7 p.m. today.
