Services were May 31 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boulder. Interment was in Fort Logan National Cemetery.

She was born May 4, 1918, in Martinsville, Ill.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Boulder and active in the Boulder County Democratic Party, frequently serving as an election judge.

Her interests included sewing, cooking, reading and writing poetry.

She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Lonnie Abrams and Glenn Connelly. She married Rex Sabotnik on Nov. 25, 1972. He died in 1991.

She is survived by two daughters, Norma Martin, Boulder, and Elaine Connelly, Denver; four sons, Lonnie Abrams, Clinton, Ind., Harold Connelly, Casey, Ill., Edgar Connelly, Longmont, and Gerald Connelly, Camby, Ore.; a sister, Maureen Snearly, Casey; five stepsons, Peter, Boulder, Rex, Denver, Steve Rasmussen, John, and Edward; 24 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
