Delores C. Reyes
A funeral service will be held for Delores Reyes, 77, of North Bend, at 2 p.m. Friday, April 24, at the Bay Area Bible Baptist Church, 14th and Oak streets in North Bend with the Rev. Roy Meksch officiating. Burial will follow at Ocean View Memory Gardens in Coos Bay. Visitation will be at North Bend Chapel, 2014 McPherson Ave. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 23.
Delores was born July 16, 1931, in Webster City, Iowa, the daughter of Del and Marguerite Arborgast Gordon. She died April 19, 2009, in North Bend.
She attended school in Iowa. In 1961, she married Francisco Baltazar Reyes in North Bend. She loved children and babysitting and she enjoyed baking, crocheting and canning.
She was a member of TOPS OR 114 for 40 years, a past Eagles member and a member of the Bible Baptist Church for many years.
Delores is survived by her husband, Francisco of North Bend; sons, Alberto and Baltazar Reyes of Coos Bay and Dennis Adams of Alabama; two brothers, Ron and Dick Wagner of Iowa; sister, Kathy McKinney of Iowa; daughter, Dora A. Martinez of Ukiah, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Jason; and brother, Buddy Gordon.
Arrangements are under the direction of North Bend Chapel, 756-0440.
