Ruth M. Bogle, 90, Hometown, Tamaqua, R. 2, and formerly of Summit Hill, died Wednesday at the Mahoning Valley Convalescent Center.
She taught elementary school 45 years in grades 1-4 and 6 in Summit Hill after graduating from Stroudsburg Normal School.
Born in Renovo, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Florence (Irvin) Bogle.
She was the last member of her immediate family and is survived by cousins.
She was a member of First Panther Valley Presbyterian Church, Summit Hill.
The Lamar Christ Funeral Home, Hometown, is in charge of arrangements.
