Frances Mary Cartier was the daughter of Michel Calix Cartier and Laura Belle Van Elsberg. She married Joseph Maxwell Lee on December 7, 1928 in Coos County, Oregon.

OBITUARY
Funeral services are pending and will be announced from Mills Funeral Home for Frances Mary Lee, 52, Olive Barber Road, who died Sunday in McAuley Hospital after a short illness.

She was born July 16, 1908 in Minnesota and had lived in this area for 32 years. She was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Max Lee, Olive Barber Road; a son, Alva M. Lee, Eugene; father, M. C. Cartier, Eastside; two sisters, Mrs. Martin Slechta, Eastside, and Mrs. Robert A. Saul, Springfield; and a brother, Roy A. Cartier, Decatur, Ill.
