Opal Boese, 48, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Larned. She was born March 14, 1928 at Plainville and was married to Robert L. Boese September 14, 1972 at Great Bend. She lived here since 1973.
Survivors include the widower; one son; Jim Nelson of Chesapeake, Virginia; one daughter Sharon of Chamblee, Georgia; three step-sons; Gary Boese of Burkett; Mike Boese of Salina; Rick Boese of Great Bend; one step-daughter; Mrs, Carolyn Starr of Burkett; three brothers; C.B. Bradley of Portland, Oregon; two sisters; Mrs, Merle Glick of Lyons; Mrs. Dorothy Medlock of Great Bend and three grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Janousek Funeral Home in LaCrosse. Burial will be in Alexander Cemetery. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
