Phebe was probably the daughter of John Crane(of Brookline, MA. And possibly Mary Daggert. No proof has been found so far. She married Thomas Campfield probably about 1650 at Milford, CT. Although no tombstone remains for her or Thomas in the old section of the Milford cemetery (Peter Prudden's Garden), we have a permanent reminder of them in the stone of theirs on the Memorial Bridge at Milford, CT. Their memorial stone is on the northwest side of the bridge about half way down from the tower. The stone reads "Sergt. Thomas Campfield obit 1689 and Phebe Crane his wife".
Phebe was my 8th great grandmother. The children of Thomas and Phebe Canfield were Thomas, Sarah, Phebe, Mary, Elizabeth, Jeremiah, Abigail, Hannah and Mehetable. Phebe's will is dated 28 July 1690 and names all her children but Thomas who had died.

Thomas and Phebe were probably married about 1650 per CT records.

It is highly unlikely that Phebe was the daughter of Jasper and Alice Crane as Phebe was not named in Jaspers will
