He was born on June 27, 1935 in Cerra Gordo, N.C. to the late Coy and Beulah Green Anderson. He was a retired employee of Epting Ballenger Corporation.
Mr. Anderson is survived by a daughter, Robin (Chuck) Smith of Tennessee; four sons, Danny Anderson and Sammy Anderson both of Newberry, Randy (Wanda) Anderson of Pomaria, and Gary Anderson of Lake Murray; a sister, Theatus Green of Whiteville, N.C. and three brothers; Douglas Anderson of Ash, N.C., Leo Anderson of Bladenboro, N.C., and Charles Richardson of Cerra Gordo, N.C.; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother George Anderson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Enoree Baptist Church by the Rev. George Leagan. Interment will be in church cemetery.
