Dean J. Nibley, age 72, succumbed to cancer at his home in Murray on June 29, 1993. Born in Teton City, Idaho on November 12, 1920 to Charles H. and Mary Alice Nibley. Married Arlene R. Crabtree, January 8, 1943.
Dean graduated from Madison High School in 1939 where he was student body president. He earned a scholarship to Ricks College playing football. Served in the Air Corps for six years, part of which was during World War II in the South Pacific. He retired from Hercules Inc. in 1983 after 23 years.
Dean enjoyed playing golf and watching football.
Survived by wife, Arlene; daughter, Susan; son, Robert and wife, Nona; two grandchildren, Shawn, who is serving in the Navy, and Shannon Nibley; sister, Neta Gardner, Washington; brother, Charles Max Nibley, California.
