Funeral services for William S. Keefer, Madison County pioneer citizen, were held at the Keefer Cemetery, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Brewster of Bryan officiating. The Riddle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Keefer was born in Madison County, September 11, 1874. He is survived by a son, Bennie L. Keefer of Bryan, and five daughters, Mrs. Pearl McBride, Mrs. Manervia Richards of College Station, Mrs. Jennie Pence of Normangee, Mrs. Katie Bell May of Bryan and Mrs. Carrie Vaughn of Bryan.
