Dr. Albert B. Slick
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 11, for Dr. Albert B. Slick who died at Edward Hospital on Mar. 8, 1963, at the age of 84. Dr. Slick, a practicing dentist in Naperville for 52 years, was a lifelong resident of the city, having been born here Jan. 11, 1879.
The Rev. Theodore Potter officiated at the funeral, and burial in Naperville Cemetery followed.
Dr. Slick is survived by his widow Clara, and daughter, Mrs. Virginia Nolte, Naperville; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Long-Time Dentist Dr. Albert B. Slick Dies Here At Age 84
Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Friedrich funeral home for Dr. Albert B. Slick of 127 S. Wright street, 84, life-long Naperville resident, who died suddenly at Edward hospital Friday, March 8.
Officiating at the service was the Rev. Theodore Potter of the Methodist church. Interment was in Naperville cemetery.
Born in Naperville January 11, 1879, Dr. Slick was graduated from Northwestern College (now North Central) and from the Northwestern University School of Dentistry in Chicago.
For most of the 53 years Dr. Slick practiced dentistry here, his offices were on the second floor of the building on the northeast corner of Jefferson avenue and Main street, originally above the Slick and Kochly department store in which his father, B. J. Slick, was a partner.
In 1907, he was married in the parsonage of Naperville's Methodist church to Clara Strubler of Naperville, who survives him. Also surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Virginia) Nolte of Naperville; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
