There could be a son Charley - born abt 1877 Iowa, although he is not on the 1880 US Census. Marie and Iver divorced between 1877 and 1880. Charley probably left with his mother.
Iver's mother Ingbor Christiansen lived with him in 1880. She was born abt 1813 in Norway. It shows her as a widow.
The 1885 Iowa Census shows the Iver Hagen family were living in Newton Twp, Winnebago County, Iowa. His mother is not there.
By 1900 US Census, Great Falls, Cascade County, Montana, Iver, 65, is living with his son Peter & Emma and their 3 children.
