Henderson rites Saturday

Mrs. Emma H. Henderson, 87, of Lupus, died Wednesday night at a Hallsville nursing home.
Mrs. Henderson was born Dec. 2, 1885, the daughter of Henry and Maggie Shuester Dietzel. She was married to Henry P. Brizendine, who died May 1, 1948. She later married Benjamin Henderson, who died July 14, 1969.
She was a member of the Lupus Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Four sons, Carl Brizendine, Jamestown, Everett Brizendine, Clarksdale, Leonard Brizendine, Boonville and Lonnie Brizendine, Council Bluffs, Iowa; five daughters, Mrs. Nellie Ambrose, Jamestown, Mrs. Viola Borts, California, Mrs. Lela Heckerman, Hot Springs, Ark., Mrs. Ethel Wiser, Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Edna Smith, Lupus.
One brother, Lawrence Dietzel, Jamestown; one step-son, Roy Henderson, Kansas City; two step-daughters, Mrs. Arlene Kuhn, Prairie Home, and Mrs. Ethel Smith, Jamestown; 55 grandchildren and 57 great -grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Williams-Woodard Funeral Chapel, California, with the Rev. Ivan Dameron officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, near Jamestown.
