OBITUARY OF CLARENCE W. OWSTON

Clarence W. Owston, 71 of Munhall, died yesterday in Willis Center, Homestead. A retired Machine Operator for Mesta Machine Company, he was a member of the Homestead Park United Methodist Church, F. & A. Masons Lodge 685 and Munhall Volunteer Fire Company Number 4. He was Legislative Chairman for Homestead Park Chapter 1751, American Association of Retired Persons and a Volunteer for the South Hills Health System.
Born October 3, 1912 in Waynesburg, he was the son of the late Clarence Robinson Owston and Elizabeth Wilson Owston. Surviving are his widow, Eleanor Glover Owston; daughter, Gayle Reinerth of Bethal Park: sons, Robert W. in Colorado, and Raymond L. of Pittsburgh; and a sister, Winifred Carstairs of the North Hills of Pittsburgh.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow in the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Homestead Park, Munhall. Service will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Homestead Park United Methodist Church by Rev. John Hartley. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Park.
