She was the wife of George F. Anderson; whom she married on July 2, 1923 at Olympia, Washington. He was a veteran of the Spanish American War. In 1949, the couple applied for admission to the Washington Veterans' Home in Retsil, Washington. They were admitted on July 12, 1949. Mrs. Anderson requested two year long furloughs starting in November 1951 and requested a discharge from the Home in June 1953.
Mrs. Anderson returned to the Home in January 1957 and passed away 2-1/2 months later on April 14th in the Home Hospital. She was 81 years of age. She was survived by one child, Lynn Dittman of Seattle. She was buried in the Home Cemetery.
