At the home of Mr. and Mrs. R.D. Anderson six miles west of Newport, on Thursday evening Sept 22d, occurred the death of their daughter, Dora M. Anderson, after an illness of about nine years with tuberculosis.
Miss Dora was born July 28, 1888, in Spokane county, this state, and most of her life was spent on the home place near Newport. For nine year she has been a patient fufferer fighting for health and life with every aid that loving parents could bring to bear, but without avail.
She is survived by her parents, a sister, Mrs Earl Beaubier, of Champion, Albert, and one brother.
Services were rendered at the family home by Rev. Osbourne, and music by Miss M Anderson, a cousin from Spokane Services were also held at th Congregational church in Newport by Rev. Osbourne assisted by the church quartette, Mrs. SW Rogers, Mrs. Lillian Blow and Messrs Roby and Karr. Interment was in the IOOF cemetery.
