Son of Henry Roloson and Mary VanSickle.

Husband of Phoebe Rosecrans (daughter of Jacob C. and Sarah Rosecrans), married May 25, 1816 in Wantage, Sussex County, NJ.

Father of Sallie Marie, Henry, Gustavus Swan, Utley, Phoebe Jane, Dewitt Clinton, Truman, Sophia, Newton and two other children.

Nathaniel Roloson, who was a native of Essex Co., (New Jersey) and emigrated to this State in the year 1816, remained in Kingston one year, and the year following came to Berlin. He was a permanent resident of this county, with the exception of two years spent in Marion Co.

September 6, 1877 - Death of a pioneer.
Nathaniel Roloson died at the residence of his son-in-law, Henry Hults, in Berlin Twp. on the 29th August in the 85th yr of his age. He was a native of New Jersey. He emigrated to Ohio and settles in Delaware County in 1817. (Abstracts from Delaware Gazette, 1875-1889)
