Mrs. Helen Morgan Stewart, 67, died Wednesday evening (April 15, 2009) at Satilla Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

She was a native and life-long resident of Ware County. She was the daughter of the late R.L. Morgan, Sr. and Maude Maybell Lee Morgan and wife of the late Lorian Hershel "Buddy" Stewart. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Jennifer M. Stewart and Minnie L. Stewart; a sister, Ola Mae Cribb; and two brothers, Gilbert Morgan and James Morgan.

She the manager of Morgan's Auto Parts for many years, a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints Second Ward and the Relief Society.

Survivors include two daughters, Peggy L. Darley of Ringgold and Debra L. Stewart of Waycross; three sons, David L. Stewart, Allen H. Stewart, and Joseph L. Stewart all of Waycross; ten grandchildren, Casey Darley, Cristy Darley, Tyler Johnson, Shane Buckley, Amber Buckley, Amber Buckley, Bruce Dixon, Jr., Alec Stewart, Haley Loren, Jamie Loren, and Sequoia Hart; five great grandchildren, Ethan Crane, Caleb Crane, Emily Crane, Carlton "BooBoo" Robinson, Jr, and Hayden Buckley; a sister, Patricia Stewart (husband Billy) of Waycross; two brothers, Lamar Morgan (wife Martha) of Perry, FL and Lawton Morgan (wife Yvette) of Waycross; an aunt, Nona Pearl Lee of Pearson and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday (April 18, 2009) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with burial to follow in Kettle Creek Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Friday at Music Funeral Home. Members of the Second Ward Relief Society are asked to gather at the church at 3:40 PM Saturday to serve as honorary pallbearers.
