Cecil Ambus Wallace who died in Beeville, Bee County, Texas in 1954 and is buried in Glenwood Cemetery (Beeville). Franklin Alexander Wallace was predeceased by both his parents and brother Cecil. The photo posted is the two sons (Cecil-left & Franklin-right) with their father (Matt-center).
Franklin first married Barbara Louise Braden on September 20, 1916 in Milam County, Texas who died September 26, 1946 in Nederland, Jefferson County, Texas and is buried in Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches, Jefferson County, Texas.
After Louise's death apparently he married a Mathilda (maiden name not yet known) since his headstone is a double headstone with Mathilda (1901-1991). Thanks to FAG volunteer (Stone and Trees) who found the headstone after much effort and searching, we now know of a 2nd marriage and more research to do.
Franklin was a retired oil field worker from
J. C. Chance Oil and was living at 812 Twin City Hwy, Nederland, Jefferson County, Texas when he died. He is buried in the "Old Settlers" Section 13, Row 10, Space 19 at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Grove, Texas with a double headstone next to his 2nd wife Mathilda.
