WINNSBORO — Funeral services were to be held today at 3 p.m. for Normie Ezell Sr., 80, of Winnsboro, in the chapel of First National Funeral Home here. The Revs. Marion Collier, Hoke Dupree and Lee Smith were to officiate.

Burial was to be in the Crowville Cemetery under the direction of First National. Mr. Ezell died Saturday at the Franklin Parish Hospital here. He was a former Delhi resident.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruby C. Ezell of Winnsboro; four sons, Normie Ezell Jr., J. D. Ezell and Lovie Ezell, all of Tallulah and Fay Ezell of Delhi; two daughters, Mrs. S. E. Poland of Delhi and Mrs. J. T. Andrews of Lakewood, Calif.; nine brothers, John Ezell, of New Orleans, Louie Ezell of Crowville, Morrell Ezell and Bluford Ezell, both of Meadville, Miss., Rufus Ezell and Paul Ezell, both of Vicksburg, Miss., Elbert Ezell, Bude, Miss., Archie Ezell of Eddiston [sic Eddiceton], Miss. and Ray Ezell of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Ward of Crowville, Mrs. Ethel Emfinger and Mrs. Annie Twiner, both of Meadville, Miss.; 25 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were to be Grady Kelly, Jim Clark, Ernest Wallace, Tom Kirkham, Ray Weems, and Lonnie Sturdivant.
